Dr. Amy Lynn Gruber and Dr. Yan Chao are great pediatricians at KP Pleasanton. Great with kids and adults.
I have recently had a change in insurance companies. I now have Kaiser Health Insurance and am looking for a pediatrician preferably in Pleasanton. I would prefer this doctor have good social skills being able to relate to my children and still maintain a conversation with me and at the same time have a great bedside manner, this is the most impertant to me. He or she needs to be compassionate. I would appreciate all recommendations.
Thank you to everyone for your advice. It's nice to see the same doctor's names mentioned more than once as most of them were. It looks like I have some great choices.
thanks again.
Dr. Amy Lynn Gruber and Dr. Yan Chao are great pediatricians at KP Pleasanton. Great with kids and adults.
My insurance changed in February and we had to leave Kaiser Pleasanton. Dr. Rick Wiesser was our pediatrician and he was amazing! He miss him so much. He was our 4th pediatrician in 2 years and I would switch back to Kaiser insurance just for him if I could.

We saw Dr. Fine about 3 1/2 years and she was wonderful. I don't know if she's still there as we've been going to Livermore since. We currently have Dr. Bartos. He's good with the kids and I never feel rushed or that I'm asking stupid questions.
Good luck,
C.
We've had Dr. Daley for 10 years and love her. She has transferred to Livermore but she is in Pleasanton sometimes. My niece uses Dr. Raygor (sp?) and she is also wonderful. Over the years we have seen many of the pediatricians and all of them have been excellent. I don't think you can go wrong.
You might like Dr. Mullin, Dr. Gee, Dr. Weisser, Dr. Daley, Dr. Fine. Kaiser Pleasanton has a lot of wonderful pediatricians who will treat you and your children with the highest level of care and consideration. Try one out and if you don't like the doctor, just ask for someone else the next time around, it won't take you long to find just the right doctor for your children. Not only is Kaiser a great place for your children to get medical care, but worth considering as a potential employer for you too.
I take my children (22mo and 3mo) to Dr Patrick Mullin at the Pleasanton clinics. He's great with the kids and also listens to the parents. He provides great advice/information. Also very compassionate. He's been with Kaiser for 20yrs. I highly recommend him.
We love Dr. JoAnn Daley in Livermore. She use to practice @ the Pleasanton office (we live in Pleasanton) but moved to the Livermore Office when they opened. She has been my 13 year olds ped since she was two and she also sees my 3.5 year old.
What I love most about her is that although Kaiser is sometimes known for quickie appts., she always gives you all the time you need. The only down fall with that is that normally she is behind schedule but well worth the wait!
We have seen both Rick Weisser, a male doctor, for my 11 yr old and Amy Gruber, a female, for my youngest two kids. I have had really great experiences with both of them. They are both very patient with me and my children. I would definately recommend either of them to other people. Good luck!
We see Dr. Bartos in Livermore. He is great with the kids and really takes his time. Never have I felt rushed and he always answers my questions. We returned to Kaiser and I was resistant because I was very happy with the pediatrician through our previous health insurance. However, staying with them was not an option. Dr. Bartos has been excellent.
I would have to agree Dr. Daley is WONDERFUL. My older girls have Dr. Raygor in pleasanton, who is also wonderful. I actually had Dr. Daley when I was a teenager and I loved her. My younger kids have Dr. McCreery he is absolutely fabulous, I can't say enough great things about him. He is in Pleasanton.
My daughter's pediatrician is Dr. Weiss. She is very patient and is able to answer my questions as well talk with my 4 year old. She is currently not taking new patients because she is full. I think you can go on the Kaiser website www.kaiserpermanente.org and read up on the pediatricians in the Pleasanton office. It is nice to know that many of the other mom's also feel that the doctors do not make you feel rushed during an appointment.
Good luck!

I love our Dr., Dr. Weisser, at the Pleasanton Kaiser. He's won a whole bunch of awards, and his bedside manner is very charming and warm. I've been very happy w/ the care he has given my kids, and the repore I have with him.
Hope that helps,
D.
The best pediatrician at Kaiser is Dr. Phelan. He was wonderful with my sons and always talked to them and made a connection with them and they loved him. He always spent the time to explain things to me and gave his full attention. We always felt like we were truly important.
Good luck!
