I am looking for someone who can work off of a sketch. I would provide the fabric, findings and the sketch of the item to be made. This is not for retail but for me personally as I do like to dabble in design but do not have the sewing abilities. This is for the Frisco/Plano, TX area but I would be willing to drive to Dallas as well.

She also has custom made things in her shop and she might be able to help you. She has done a LOT of alterations for us and it is always just right.

I would e-mail the UNT Fashion Design Dept. They have an excellent program there. I'm sure that they would have several talented students who would be thrilled to earn a bit of extra money! Good luck and have a great day - C.

Image Tailor at Coit and Campbell can probably do this. Also, I know Eta at Martha's Alterations can certainly do this! They are located on Lovers Lane near Celebration Restaurant west of Inwood and Lovers.

I used to be a professional seamstress. I don't do it anymore, however I do know that Richard Brooks Fabrics (www.richardbrooksfabrics.com) at Preston Center in Dallas and Kay's Fabrics on Arapaho Rd. about a mile west of I-75 in Richardson have several seamstress each that do exactly what you are wanting. I used to work at Richard Brooks in the fabric store and as a seamstress years ago and their seamstresses are quite talented. Good luck!
