I want to know if anyone can recommend me a reasonable housekeeper in Lake Forest Park area. I am looking for someone who can do 3bd/2.5bath tri-level house around $50 each time.

What can I do next?

I live in Lake Forest Park and have 3bd/2.5 bath done every other week for $100. This was after much searching and I feel like I got a good deal. I hear ya on wanting to spend more time on the kids rather than the house. I think the just floors/bathroom for less money idea was a good one if you need to stay on a tight budget. Good Luck!

This is a great company, but I'm not sure that your $$$ is reasonable, however, maybe you could have part of the cleaning done for that amount.

We have a fairly reasonable housecleaner, but just a tad more than you're hoping for. She charges $20 per hour, with a four hour minimum. We just have her come once a month right now, and it's working out well. Her name is Brenda Pickett, and her number is ###-###-####. If you do call her, tell her M. in Edmonds referred you. Good luck!

I would agree with previous posts that it may be difficult to find someone to clean your home for that price.

I have been using cleaners through Dana's Housekeeping (http://www.housecleaning.com/danas/d_index.asp) for over a year and have been very happy. The cost varies depending on the frequency of service – we pay about $85 for 4 hours of service (bi-weekly). Every other service I looked into was quite a bit more than that!

If you find a deal like that it would be more than reasonable, it would be a miracle!!! Good luck!!

There wasn't a lot of positive response out there for you, but don't give up. I found a housecleaner last year and have been using her once a month and love her. She is a single mom who works a job full time mon-fri and cleans houses on friday nights and weekends to make ends meet. The catch is that she brings her 5-year old boy with her and he plays well with both my children and is well behaved. After a tip I pay her about $18/hr. and it takes her between 3 1/2 to 4 hrs each time she comes to my house. She can't get the whole thing done, but all three baths and all the floors with whatever special requests I have for other rooms. I don't want to give her number out to all the moms, but feel free to e-mail me and I will give you her number.

Thanks

I'm sorry - but $50 to clean that kind of house isn't reasonable and I would be very shocked if you found somone. You are easily looking at $100+ the first time and maybe $20/$30 less if you continue to have it done every week or every two weeks.
Having your house cleaned is a convenience (and a pricey one at that).
