I am 35 and feel my skin needs a lot of TLC. I have been using Dermalogica for years and have enjoyed the "natural" aspect of it but now realize I need more of anti-aging regiment. I have fine lines, age spots, pigmentation from hormones/having kids, acne scars, and just feel like it isn't as bright and shiny. I know it is from lack of sleep, stress of just having a newborn and a toddler, ect. I am interested in finding a regiment that is affordable but WORKS! I also would like to start getting facials or peels or something that again WORKS and gets results. Any OBAGI users out there? Your thoughts?
THANKS

Hi
I would recommend Shaklee's Enfuselle skincare and Minerelles cosmetics. You will see immediate results. There are eight patents on these product and they come with a money-back guarantee. You can find them at http://www.shaklee.net/healthforlife.
Shaklee is the number one seller of natural supplements and have put their nutrition knowledge to work for our skin.
I would be happy to send you samples if you would like them.

Have you ever tried the Mary Kay products? I have used them for years off and on but have recently been introduced to them again and they are wonderful! They have skin care products for every type of skin and a 100% satisfaction guarantee so you can try them and if you don't like them, you are not out anything. I love it so much that I recently started selling the products as well, mostly to get the discount. If you are interested, send me a message and I can get you headed in the right direction.

I love the silk peel microdermabrasion. Very gentle, very effective(not cheap though) If you get this done a little more frequently at first, you can taper off to 1x every 8 weeks or so. I found it to be a better investment then spending a lot of money on fancy creams. I also recommend light glycolic peels. There is no down time, very gentle, effective(again, not cheap) I've used obagi and liked it, but did not LOVE it. Regardless,, it will not do any wonders if you aren't doing some of the more 'professional' type exfoliation like silk peel and/or peels. Spend more with a trusted dermotalogical estetician, less on products has been my experience. I go to Wicker Park Dermatalogy and Aesthics and see Meredith. She is amazing. PM me if you have more questions( I love this topic...guilty pleasure for sure!)

p.s. for a 'great' everyday light glyoclic peel...try 'Glycolix' pads...$25 and they are really, really great! you can find them on skincarerx.com

Hi TB,

I use Nicole Miller products and my age spots, crow's feet and fine lines have disappeared. It contains pharmaceutical grade vitamins and botanicals. Other than that I am healthy. That is what will show in your skin more than anything. I eat right, I take an absorbable multivitamin, I do get exercise and I also take a supplement that is meant for good heart health. I have no heart issues but the supplement is primarily grape skin extract, that is actually medicinal for the skin. I notice when I forget to take it that my skin looks older than when I do take it. If you're interested let me know and I can send you some information.
