I am researching new schools for my 3 year old son and I was wondering if anyone had information that they could share about Creme de la Creme (in North Dallas off of Plano Parkway), Preston Meadows Montessori or Parkwood Montessori Academy? I'm trying to stay in the North Dallas/Plano area which is closest to my home.

What can I do next?

I have tried three Montessori's in the North Dallas/Richardson/Plano area, and have finally found a great one - unfortunately for you, more to the Richardson end. My first son went to Dallas North Montessori near Prestona dn McCallum. good program, but not very nruturing environment - overall unimpressed. next year tried Plano Children's Montessori. better emotional environmet, less impressed with program, terrible communication between home and school. new director this year may have made a difference though. this year my 3 year old is at Dallas North Montessori in Richardson near Floyd and Arapajo (maybe 1.5 miles West of 75. LOVE this school. It is very small - one primary (3-6) classroom, one elementray (6-9)and the teachers are the owners who started the school 22 years ago. Open registration for next year starts March 3rd, and waiting lists can build fast!

I HIGHLY recommend Primrose Pre-schools. The two that I have the most exp with are located in Plano. They are both owned by the same family and are just great. You should go take a tour and see for yourself. ###-###-#### (Hedgcoxe and Coit).

K., I don't know anything about these schools, but Canyon Creek Dayschool in Plano is wonderful. I have had 3 of my kids go there for pre-school and have been overwhelmed with the staff, the teaching, and the amount of love that they give.

I had to search for my three girls and I felt like a crazy person! I didn't realize that i would be so picky. I picked apart everything. If they didn't sound right on the phone...if their home smelled different...how they carried themselves in the interview or tour. So, I came up with two that I fell in love with.
American Montessori Academy ###-###-####)on Plano Parkway and Midway.
If you are looking for a Christian based preschool then Creation Station ###-###-####) is a great place. It is a feeder school into American Heritage Academy.
