My daughter will be two in April and I am looking to take her to the dentist for the first time but I want to find a dentist that has a specialty in children, any suggestions?

I think we may go to the practice Deb mentioned. It's Gaynor Family Dental. My pediatrician in Rochester Hills recommended them. We drive from Roch Hills (so does my ped) to see these dentists. The practice is owned by two brothers, they are fairly young and have young kids. My son LOVES to go and get the "sugar bugs" off his teeth and have his teeth made shiny. Another plus...I have never had to wait!

I always went to Children's Hospital downtown. That's their speciality, children! I know it's a drive, but honestly, I can't think of anyone better for kids!

My baby boy is now 19 1/2. When he was in pre-school Dr. Arnold Tracht invited his class to his office in Rochester Hills. This is a wonderful pediatric practice. Our son had all his orthodontia done through them as well. ###-###-####. Little chairs, hand held video games during procedures, great staff who talk nicely with children - it's a great set up for kids.
try Tuny Tooth Dental. They are located on Dequindre near 17 mile rd. The staff is great and Dr. Tuazon does a great job.

Not sure who the doc's are now but there's a great pediatric dentist office on Garfield just north of 17 Mile road. Took my kids there in the 80's. They're coupled with an orthodontist.

We have been really happy with our ped dentist group. We have only been there once, but were very impressed. They are awesome with children and totally get it in every sense of the experience for them. The group is called Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics: Drs. Del, Plunkett, Ralstrom and Makowski.
