Seeking Fertility Specialist

Dr. MIchael Contro in Los Gatos is not only an ObGyn, but also a fertility specialist. He is my Dr., but I already had my kids when I first came into his office. I heard great things about him regarding infertility.

Another recommendation for Dr. Michael Contro!! I had my daughter and then had 2 miscarriages trying to have another. He diagnosed my problem (Elevated Natural Killer Cells) and when I got pg again, prescribed treatment and I now have beautiful 5.5 yr old twin boys!! He and his office staff are just wonderful and when I left his office after my very first appt, I KNEW I would have another baby.

If not here is some info: I have been learning recently about how unsafe ingredients in personal care products made by major manufacturers in the US could be contributing to infertility because of unsafe ingredients that could cause infertility, as well as chronic disease. Please visit www.findgreenhere.com (safe cosmetics page, cosmetic database - insert the names of your personal care products and/or key ingredients). After researching, you may find that you want to stop using anything on yourself, and hubby or 6-year-old unless it is all "clean and green and toxin-free". I don't know where you are living, but there's a great acupuncturist in Oakland who specializes in fertility and she takes a very broad look at all factors in your life, especially nutrition. She's very experienced and may be able to refer you to someone nearer you if necessary.
