My daughter is 19 months and goes to Primrose on Virginia in McKinney. I absolutely love them, she has learned so much and they do a wonderful job. The first thing my daughter says in the morning is "school". It is a wonderful place to be!
Hi, I have 15 month old that I need to find good quality childcare for about 25 hours a week. I am open to daycare or in-home childcare. I have visited several daycares in the area and haven't been very impressed. Please help me find a good home away from home for my little guy.

Hi M., I don't know what part of Richardson you are in but I am in Murphy on Murphy road between Renner and 78. I am a stay at home Mom looking to care for a child in my home. I have a 3 month old girl and keep children in my neighborhood a lot. I know what a difficult decision it is. I quit my long time career because I couldnt find a daycare I felt comfortable with. Best of luck to you. Let me know if you would like to talk.
Thanks A.

I work in Richardson and looked at several in the area where I work (at the time I wanted my daughter closer to where I work). I too wasn't very impressed. If you haven't already looked, here are 4 that weren't too bad:
Primrose of Breckenridge (North Star & Renner): very safe, very clean, good teachers, but pricey. Perhaps with part time, this might not be so bad. Long waiting list though. (My daughter is in Primrose in McKinney.)
Chilren's Choice Learning Center (Jupiter @190): they run the daycare at Medical City Dallas and other hospitals. This one is for healthy children only. Did not tour the building because it didn't exist at the time. Not as pricey, but still not cheap.
Kindercare (Campbell & Jupiter): Older facility. Smaller. Not as safe (all parents have the same security code). Better priced. All children here were happy and content when I visited. This was unusual because everywhere I went at least one child was crying.
Peanut Gallery (off Greenville near Nortel): My coworker had her daughter here and liked it. The rooms are separated by halfwalls, so it's kind of loud. Not too pricey. Safe (parents get a key..and they sign in/out). Playground is in the center of the building.
