Bad, bad, bad, I know, but I have not had a physical in 10 years. Its time, as I am now in my 50's. See my Gyno twice a year, but I think I need everything else checked! Part of the reason I have not gone is knowing who to go to. I live in the 290/Hwy 6 area, willing to travel from Katy up to Champions, just dont want to do the Medical Center half-day trip. Prefer a woman, but not mandatory. I want a thorough physical, not just a once over. Does anyone have someone they really think is good?
Dr. Caramina Davidsohn is great. She is with Kelsey-Seybold on 1960 close to 290. She is an internist.

I have gone through a lot of doctors, so I know how hard it is to find someone you really like and actually listens to you! I live in the copperfield area and drive over to 249 right by the Methodist willowbrook hospital to my GP/Internist. He is male, but he's young and very easy to talk with. I have been mostly impressed with his humility. He'll admit freely if he doesn't know something and then will do all the research needed to be up on the information. He takes as much time is needed with you in the appt. I've sent a lot of family and friends to him recently and every single person loves him. Dr. Kantamani is an Internist and she is excellent. Her phone # is ###-###-####. She is located at Christus St. Catherine at I-10 and Fry Road in the hospital. She is probably the best Dr. I have had, especially in the Houston area.
So you might have already found a Doctor, but I thought I'd put me 2 cents in. My whole family, including both of my parents and my in laws see a husband and wife team at Longenbaugh and Hwy 6 (in Copperfield behind the sonic). Dr. Arthur and Carolotta Hilleret. Copperfield Family Medicine and the phone number is ###-###-####. They women see Dr. Carolotta and the men see Dr. Arthur. They are wonderful and my family have never had any complaints with them.
I am a pharmaceutical sales rep so I call on a lot of physicians. I recommend Dr. Maya Mayekar in Memorial City, 902 Frostwood Suite 290, 77024. She is very good, very personal, but no nonsense. She isn't just going to tell you what you want to hear. If a family friend wasn't my doctor she would be. There is also Dr. Saleha Ahmed which may be a little closer, she is at 1919 North Loop West, 2nd Floor, 77008. Both are late 40s-early 50s. Dr. Karen Rakers is also in Memorial City at 915 Gessner, Suite 100. She is mid 30s and very, very sweet. Hope this helps.
