Looking for a good gym that offers good, safe daycare services in Rogers Park/Skokie/Evanston area. I live in Rogers Park but work in Skokie. Looking for something safe to leave 3 1/3 yr old at while I work out and that doesn't cost a lot of money!!

I know of a place near old orchard shopping mall with free babysitting but membership is relatively expensive.
Lifetime Fitness on Old Orchard Rd offers babysitting, but it is quite expensive.
Skokie Park District Health Club also offers babysitting. Their health club is not as fancy as Lifetime Fitness, but it's a great facility nevertheless that is a lot cheaper. They are located at the corner of Skokie Blvd and Church.
In Evanston, there is the EAC, or Evanston Athletic Club. I'm not sure if they have babysitting, but they are also a bit pricey. Check the evanston Y, they might have it.
I hope by now you found something, but if not. I love Lifetime fitness. My kids went there when they were little and had such fond memories that when we had no school last week they asked to go back. The classes are great, they are fun with great people and great teacher. If you decide to go. let me know i will look for you and introduce you to the teachers and some of the other students. i would recommend lifetime fitness. i think that's the place the previous poster is referring to. i absolutely loved it. i only quit bc of distance.
