Try meetup.com. There are several moms/kids/playdate groups in Broward county. I belong to (and co-organize) two of them. However, we are in the east/central Ft Lauderdale area... AP Moms of Ft Lauderdale and Moms in Motion, Fort Lauderdale. Of course, you are welcome to join our group, but if you are looking to stay local, there is one called "Rockin Mammaz", which I think has several events on the Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Pompano, Tamarac areas... including moms night outs and family events.
