I LOVE my ob gyn. The best doctor I have ever had. Kind, Always available and a great support. He is in Hackensack, Dr. Robert Gallo. He was referred by son's pediatrician (who has the same level of service) Dr. Joseph Fruchter, All Bergen Pedicatrics (everyone in the practice is very good and has morning call hours where they make themselves to answer phone calls with questions) Both are in Hackensack.
If you need a great child care (6 weeks to Pre-K), try Rainbow Academy in Rutherford (very close to Hackensack) and immaculate, great educational programs and caring staff.

Ihave the prefect dr's for you. And they are in the same buliding. The pediatrician is Dr Neil Kolsky. he is with pedimedica in teaneck, NJ also the OB/GYN is Dr Sousou.

I go to Dr. Gallo on Prospect Ave in Hackensack. He is a wonderful doctor. I absolutely adore him!!
I use Pediatric Specialities in Hackensack. They are a wonderful group of pediatricians. We go to Dr. Materesky. But any of the 5 are great!

I LOVE my OB/GYN she is in the Medical Plaza (20 Prospect Avenue) and her name is Dr. Judi Gerardis. She and her partner Dr. Kopp delivered my twins and I couldn't be happier with them. We also love Dr. Azzariti in the Pedimedica group in Rochelle Park. The great thing about Pedimedica is they have offices all over the place and one is always open on the weekend.(Rochelle Park, Fort Lee, Teaneck, Closter)
The pediatrician we go to for my son (17-months-old) is hackensack pediatrics. Someone is always available but if you're interested in seeing only one dr., probably not the best choice since there are always new people. They are all very nice and sometimes it's not such a bad thing to have different dr's especially during the shots phase. My son would burst into tears whenever Dr. Tantawi would walk in the room because she was the one who always gave him his shots. Then my work schedule changed and I couldn't get her during her office hours anymore and we had a different, younger dr. and he was much calmer since he wasn't associating his dr. with pain. Good luck! I also go to Dr. Gerardis, Dr. Kopp and Dr. Schwarz. Dr. Gerardis delievred my son and they are all wonderful! Sometimes you will wait though, especially if they ahve an emergency or delivery.

I too use Dr's Gerardis, Kopp, and Schwarz. They delivered both my girls. I am finding that they are booking WAY in advance for regular visits, but when you are an OB patient you get great care.
Our pediatrician's are All Bergen Pediatrics on Main St. in Hackensack (located near Rt. 4). I love Dr. Tieri, Dr. Fruchter, and Dr. Miele but there are several others and someone is always available. They also have early morning call hours specific to each Dr. When you call, you are calling their home. I have used it several times after a rough night with a sick baby etc.

Dr. Irani (OB/GYN).....Rutherford and Hackensack.....Wonderful group of all women doctors....Been going there for 15 years. They delivered my two daughters.

I have a great dr, too. His name is Dr. Michael Sbarra ###-###-####). He is really nice and so is everyone in his office. His office is right in Hackensack Hospital, in the Medical Plaza (The bldg on your right when you first pull in). There are tons of dr's in there so I am sure there is a pediatrician too if you are looking for one (mine is located in Paramus but works out of Hackensack). I too used Dr Irani as my OB-GYN and use All Bergen Pediatrics on Main St. in Hackensack for my pediatricians. I love the pediatricians.
I must warn about Dr Irani.....I have been told that Dr Irani has had many lawsuits and cannot get mal practice insurance..supposedly hackensack hospital pays for her malpractice.....BUT I do not know how true all this is....I am skeptical and worry because I do continue to go and see Dr DelRosario and Irani's daughter in the office.......Dr Irani never delivered my boys and sometimes I am thankful for that. Dr DelRosario delivered both of my boys......and she is awesome.
I dont know if I would use them again if I got pregnant and am considering changing OB/GYN's........but I havent made up my mind.....PLUS the wait in the actual room is HORRIBLE....Last time I was there I was in the room for 1 1/2 hours....they forgot about me even though I kept buzzing.......
I'll have to see.....I dont like gossip but I am not sure how to find out if this info I received is true....
Does anyone know if you can investigate a doctor and see if they have ever been accused of malpractice....supposedly Irina has on more than 3-4 occassions.....
