I had my first daughter under supervision of a mid-wife that has gone out of business. I really liked her attention to detail and use of the Bradley Method. We are planning our second child and would like to know if anyone has any positive experiences with another midwife in the Houston area they could recommend. We live in West Houston.

I used Jackie Griggs for my daughter's home birth in 2005 and I'm using her again for my 2nd home birth in 5 weeks or so. She's recently opened a birthing center as well. She's very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I trust her completely. Best of luck to you.

The Women's Specialists of Houston are awesome - they deliver at St. Luke's in the Medical Center. If you want to do a home birth Jackie Griggs, CNM is excellent.
