I recommend Dr. Tamai at Fire Mountain Spine Rehabilitation Center in Oceanside (same shopping mall where the Trader Joes is on the Vista Way, ph.###-###-####). She is a chiropractor and her specialty is Pettibon and pediatric chiropractic. The center also provide Life & Nutritional Counseling. Our son is asthmatic and allergic to many things. I have been having several joints and back issues. We have tried other chiropractors, acupuncturists, and chinese herbal medicines, but we have not seen much of improvements. After consulting with Dr. Tamai, we have found out that our son has a slightly bent spine and is restricting my son's breathing capacity. We are just started with the therapy, but I am already seeing some improvements in my son's posture and my own conditions.
As for pediatritian, our son sees Dr. Ching Ti (also on the Vista Way ph.###-###-####). My son and I love her.

I too have been seeking an integrative doctor that treats children and I just found one. Her name is Dr. Sheila Panda and I just took my 20 month daughter to her last week. She is a naturpath that treats children and infants. My daughter warmend right up to her. She's in the Rancho Bernardo area, which isn't all that convenient for me since I'm in Carlsbad. I have found that going to my local health foods/vitamin store, like a Henry's or Sprouts and asking at the vitamin counter can help. They usually have information on the best local holistic medicine practitioners in the area.

I know of an office in Carmel Mountain. They are having an Open House Seminar on March 29. If you are interested give me a call and I can give you the rest of the information.

Well, I'll be watching the comments on this one... I would love to find a family doctor that was more "naturally" based. My girls go to El Camino Pediatrics. The positives are that you can ALWAYS get in to see a doctor, and most don't argue with me on our choice NOT to turn to meds for every situation.
