Hey moms and grandmas out there, I need your help in locating a Graco Snugride Infant Carseat "Central Park", for a family expecting twins. They have one from their first child and would like to find a matching one. Theirs is about 5 years old, so that may help jog a few memories. So if any young mom is finished with theirs and would like to free up some storage space, please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have Graco carseat/carrier, but I don't think it is the "Central Park". Mine is about 3 1/2 years old.

This weekend is the Huge consignment sale in Mesquite. Check out jbfsale.com (Just Between Friends). It will probably have the one you are looking for, or at least 2 matching seats, for a fraction of the cost new.

Thanks,
N.

If their current carseat is about 5 years old the best thing to do is replace it. Carseats do have expiration dates and most are 5 years. Replacing the seat would be the safest and easiest option.

If their carseat is 5 years old, they need a new one. The experts recommend replacing your cars seat every 5 years for safety reasons.

I agree with a previous post. If it is 5 years old- it is expired. They aren't safe after the expiration date (and no it isn't just if they have been in a car accident). The plastic and foam that makes them safe can crack or becomes stressed and fragile.

I would suggest that they go to a consignment store and get 2 matching, but newer carseats.
