Hi A.!

I think a pottery place would be fun! I went to a Bridal Shower at one, and everyone loved it. There were even little kids there who loved painting their own piece. They have piggy banks, light switch plates, etc. So the kids could make something they would use. I'm not sure how much it costs, but I don't think it should be too much since your guests pay for the piece they paint. Here's a link to a list of cities and where there's a studio:

Good luck!!

A.,
I'm not sure what city you live in, but most cities have city parks with cabins or areas for gatherings and you can rent them really cheap. Some have big fire places and tables and chairs. Call your local parks system amd ask them.

Or, try one of those hand painted pottery places where you have a party and everyone paints a mug or pot - check the phone book.

Also, if you belong to a church, they usually have a hall or gathering room that isn't used a whole lot. Can be a great place for a larger group.

Good luck!

Morning A. P,

I am not sure were you live, but i had my baby shower at the Cleveland Heights Rec Center in one of the Atriums. They will provide the tables and chairs and it is really nice for about 40 people. They have big picture windows. I thought noise would be a problem and it wasn't at all. Parking can be difficult if there are alot of other activities (skating and hockey games) going on. Also look into lake farm park. We went out there this summer and saw a bunch of birthday parties going on. I am thinking of having my sons 2nd birthday out there. Even though it is a farm, tons of the activities are indoors and you can take a covered horse drawn wagon ride too. Yeah!!!!I would also check into the Cleveland Zoo. I am sure they have some sort of birthday thing they can do. I would love to here of what you find. Like I said i will soon be trying to have my sons 2nd birthday party.
Best of Luck!
G. M
