Hi Everyone! This is the first time I've posted a request on Mamasource. I was wondering if anyone knows of a Mom's group that is in my area. I am an Older mommy with a 4mth old son and would love to chat/meet with other Mommy's for any type of outing. Otherwise, I find that I don't get out of the house much and need to!Thanks so much in advance ladies!
Thank you so much ladies for your GREAT suggestions for Mommies groups! I ended up hearing from Moms and Munchkins and Groovymoms and joined these two great groups! I really appreciate your advice ladies! Keep up the good work!!
Look on the internet for the link to moms Club. www.momsclub.org They have different groups divided into regions/areas so that people do not have to drive far. there are 2 Dublin clubs, 3 Powell and one Hilliard club. While I was never in it, many of my friends were and they ranted and raved about haw wonderful it was. Infact, One of my friends started her own chapter.
Hi R., ok first of all congrats on being a 'older' mommy... I had my first and only kid at 41! He is now 4 and he is the best thing that ever happened to me!!!!! You are in for some great times!!! I belong to a internet group called ____@____.com check them out, I don't post much but I read them all..... they do playgroups and give advice, etc........good luck..

I'm an older than you mommy (39) with a 8 month old son, Matthew :). Beechwold Christian Church holds a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)group on Tuesday nights from 6-8:30 including dinner and childcare. The first meeting is Sept.2. If you'd like to know more, let me know.

my suggestion is to go on mall walks and lunches with your friend M. who is back in town from her month long vaca! also, there is a dublin mom's group called mom's and munchkins of columbus..i think. let me know what u find b/c i would love to join another group with you. then i would at least know someone to start out. hope that helps!
