Hello! I recently moved here from Iowa. I live in Mckinney, but am in Frisco school district. I have two boys age 2 and age 1. I am looking for a mom's group or group of friends since I don't know many people in this area. What are some groups that are friendly and inviting to new people?? Any ideas??

The MOPS group that meets at Trinity Pres. Church on Virginia Pkwy. in McKinney is wonderful!! It's a great variety of wonderful women. I would still be going if my children hadn't aged out! =)
Welcome to the area!
I am involved in the mom's group through my church. We have plydates and mom's nights out during the summer, but have real meetings and guest seakers during the school year as well as the playdates and nights out. Although most of us attend the same church, we are open to all and have several members who do not. Our activities and meetings are not religious at all- just moms hanging out, sharing kid and husband stories. :)We stick to the McKinney area for activities usually, but do venture out sometimes.
