I live in huntington park and want to know if anybody knows of a good pre-school for my 3 yr old daughter. Also of a good place where she can learn how to dance or play an instrument. It is very hard to find one around here. Or maybe I havent looked but if anyone has any suggestions it will be appreciated greatly. Thank you.
Have you call your local Head Start program or Early Childhood program in your area; usualy you can locate these preschools through the internet. Also check out you local parks and recs programs they might offer preschool classes and extra curriculum activities. I hope this helps, and good luck.

Pacific Oaks in Pasadena has a private (attached to a college) preschool that's very John Dewey...learn by doing, expressive art type school. OTherwise, I would recommend the Waldorf School in Pasadena.
Have you looked online for a Suzuki trained music instructor. A friend of mine is a Suzuki method violin teacher and she has students come to her home (sorry, I think it might be a bit far for you)and, in special circumstances, she goes to the student's home for lessons. Also, check with your local community center -- there are usually music and dance classes offered at reasonable rates.
