I actually used to take my children to Lutz Pediatrics, but that was before Dr. Grover acquired it. I left when our doctor left the practice & took my children to Dr. Nina.

We just love Dr. Nina! She's wonderful with the children & makes going to the doctor a fun experience. She's a small practice, much like Dr. Grover, and I've never had a problem getting an appointment when we've needed a last-minute sick appt.

Many of my friends also take their children to Dr. Nina and all of us are very happy. I highly recommend her practice!

I have been taking my daughter who is 17 months to Dr. Nina since she was born. I have been pretty happy. The call me back when I have questions the same day. If my daughter has a problem that they have treated, & she needs a specialist, I have not had any problems at all getting a referral. No problem getting appointments.

I have seen Dr. Twedt, who works there 1-2 days a week, I really like her too. They both make a fus over the babies, & give good advice. I did kind of an alternate vaccine program with mine (started Hep B later than normal & no Chicken Pox Vaccine) & they were fine with it. The recommend vaccines but not cram it down your throat if you not interested. If you want info on a particular topic they have hand outs, and give you resources to researh yourself.

Recently my daughter had a fever, with no other symptoms. They were honest about not really being able to do anything, signs to look out for etc. Didn't seem to be UTI, GI etc. The said it could be a cold starting. Guess what 2 days later after the fever broke, runny nose- she developed a cold.

Over all my husband & I have been happy there. The practice is very warm and inviting, they have a nice play area for the kids while they are waiting.

I go to Pediatric Healthcare Alliance in Land O'Lakes/Lutz on Route 54. Dr. Tan and Dr. Buzzeo. I love them both and they have been around forever. They have after hours facilities also. Good Luck.

Dr. Nina was our pediatrician until I was laid off and there was an insurance change. I was in tears. We love her sooo much! I have an 8 yo boy and a 5 yo girl. She is very thorough with you and very attentive to your child. She engages with your child as soon as she enters the room. I believe that helps your child feel more comfortable and at ease.

I never had issues with my children not wanting to go to her office. Whenever they were sick, they would say "I need to go see Dr. Nina". I would definitely recommend Dr. Nina. She is great, kind, gentle and a great pediatrician all around.

Good Luck!
