Hi,
I'm looking to transfer my son to a new school for VPK. I'd like him to attend a pre-school that has an exceptional curriculum to prepare him for kindergarten. I have him in a good preschool now (love the teachers, the school and his friends) but think he's outgrowing it and ready for a change. I was looking into Adventure Bay Learning Center and Andover Academy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My Daughter goes to La Pettie in Boca and I am very happy there. They have an excelent curriculum and have taught her a lot.
My niece went to DPK on Broward Blvd. just west of Hiatus Rd. She was more than prepared for kindergarten and she loved to go there. They had family activities also like grandparents day and parents and relatives were always welcome to check in to see how the classrooms are.
My son goes to Cambridge School in Weston - right off of 84 and Glades. It has a great curriculum. They have a full schedule with music class, spanish, computer, PE, etc. I've looked at a ton of schools and haven't found a superior one, except maybe Sagemont (which is really expensive) or Nova (which has a long waiting list). A Children's Carousel in Weston/Sunrise! They have several times been voted the best private pre-school in the area. The teachers are wonderful and caring and their program is excellent as it prepares the children above and beyond what is expected of them when they start Kindergarten.

This is my daughter's second year there. While I would like to say that my daughter is bright, I do credit the school for much of her development and skills. They truly do care about your child.

Parkway Christian School (Flamingo Road in Davie) has an exceptional staff and the curriculum is outstanding. They offer both, a traditional pre-school, and an extended day program in the elementary school building. My daughter attended the extended day program and is a straight "a" student in kindergarten. We go to Temple Kol Ami in Plantation and think it has a great VPK program.
