My 3 year old nephew was recently diagnosed with a cyst on his thyroid. He and his family live in a rural area and they would like to come to Dallas for treatment. I can't reach my pediatric office for anything less than a sick appointment. Does anyone have a doctor in the metroplex that they have used with success? Thank you!
I would highly recommend Dr. Michael Kronenberger. He is not solely a pediatric ENT but I would guess that 50% of his patients are children. He did my son's tubes at age 18. He is also my husband's ENT.

I'm an audiologist in town and i would only take my own child to Dr. Bauer at ENT for children in Coppell (he is also at med. city). Their number is ###-###-####. His partner is also very good. The other ones i do like and respect is Dr. Natalie Roberge in Bedford or Dr. Cristobal in Fort Worth.

I had to find an ENT for my daughter when she was 8 months old (she is now almost 15 months). I, too asked the mom's on MamaSource, and I specified that I wanted to know WHY their doctor was great. Bedside manner was not my priority- I wanted the BEST doctor, not the nicest. It turns out we got both! I got multiple solid, detailed referals to Dr. Neelesh Mehendale (Neal-ish Muh-HEN-duh-lay) at the Centenial Medical Center in Frisco. We drove way out of our way to go to him & we have been very happy. He is very thorough and explains everything to you in layman's terms. He is also very good with kids. Our daughter had surgery to have tubes put in her ears and he & his staff made it very easy on all of us. I feel confident he would be very thorough with your nephew. Check the rest of my responses/requests to read the other mom's referals if you like.

They have two offices one in Dallas (located at Medical City Dallas Hospital) and the other in Coppell. Dr. Bauer put tubes in my sons ears back in May of 2008 and we absolutely love him. A friend of our uses Dr. Murray and has nothing but good things to say about him as well. We work in healthcare, so when I needed an ENT I had inquired from several different individuals within our Hospital Corporation and all recommended these two docs.

We have used Neelesh Mehendale in Frisco at Centennial Medical Center for 2+ years and he is awesome! So patient and gentle with both of my boys. I recommend him to everyone!
Dr Murray is EXCELLENT! I can not reccommend him enough. He has taken care of my little one since she was nine months old. My MD LOVES him and sends all his patients to him. He and his family are patients at the office I work in and they are all GREAT people. His staff is friendly and easy to work with. Go see Dr Murray!
I would highly recommend John McClay, MD at Children's Medical Center...I believe he has offices both at the new Plano location Children's in Legacy and the Children's Medical Center in Dallas. He did surgery on my son just about a year ago at this time. He is an excellent doctor. Not only do I think he is an excellent doctor I think Children's is the place to go if there is any chance your child needs surgery. Good luck!
We used Dr. Michael Biavati in Dallas. I don't have his number handy but he should be easily found on the internet. He is extremely knowledgeable and very good with children. My son even asked a couple of times when we could see him again!

Dr. Rohn is one of the most fabulous people you will ever meet and a tremendously talented doctor. Two of my kids have had surgeries with Dr. Rohn and have been so smooth. Sounds like you've got some great references here! We used Dr Alan Murray with ENT for Childrenin Coppell. The surgery was at a surgery center in Plano that was FABulous.
I have used Dr. Bauer at ENT for Chidlren in Coppell. He also has offices in Dallas. You can go to ENTforchildren.net for more information. He put tubes in my6 daughther's ears at 6 months, and we had a great experience. Good luck!
