Help! I need a pediatrician fast, as I will be due in a less than a month. Know any fantastic ones in the Decatur area?

My son sees the doctors at Briarcliff Pediatrics. They are wonderful. They have a website- I'm not sure what it is, but you can google them. They are located on Henderson Mill Road and they are great. (I live in Decatur and it is very close for me) They always get my son in, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for an appointment. My son loves them. There are two doctors- a man and a woman
I had a pediatrician that I loved in Decatur. Her name is Jane Wilkov. I only left her practice because I moved to far away to be dragging sick kids around 285. If I were still in the Decatur area I would still be a patient. She is great with kids and parents and is very good about keeping herself and patients educated. At the time she also had a wonderful staff and clean waiting area. She gave me some of the best advice a new moter could ask to learn. One of the best which I have shared with many over the years was that breastfeeding should not hurt for more than 2 weeks and if it does stop. It does not mean that you are a bad mother just like everything in life all things aren't meant for all people. It should be a wonderful experience for mother and baby. I found that to be exactly correct and so have the others that I have shared it with over the years. Her office is at 350 Winn Way in Decatur. I love Dr Herrmann with Rainbow Pedatrics. She's in Decatur across the street from the Kroger on Commerce.
She's not in Decatur, but Sandy Springs, so not too far of a drive. Anitha Leonard with Sandy Springs pediatrics is who we use. She's great and everyone else in the practice is, too. About half of them are also infectious disease specialists, so they're good about not overprescribing antibiotics. They admit to Scottish Rite if needed.
The other option would be to call Egleston and see which pediatricians on their staff have private practices. Generally, if a pediatrician has privileges at a good children's hospital, they're well qualified.
Hi, I live in Decatur and am 25 weeks with my first. I'm still and probably will be up to the day of absorbing the living, breathing, dependent, life-changing baby in my arms thing too!!!!

Dekalb Pediatrics is great! We used them for my son's first year until Intown Pediatrics in Grant Park opened. We live there, so it's much closer for us and Dr. Sells is fantastic! If you want to stay in the Decatur area though -I do recommend the pediatricians at Dekalb Pediatrics on Winn Way.

Dr. Debby Pollack is amazing!!! She's been my daughter's doc since birth...that's 2 1/2 years now. No complaints...simply a good doc in a good practice. You can't go wrong choosing one of their docs. Many blessings for you & a safe delivery!
