I am considering enrolling my daughters in Girl Scouts and would like to hear any personal experiences with this organization - good or bad.

What can I do next?

I think it's a great program. I was in it as a kid and I'd like my daughter to be involved in it when she is older. It's a nice way to meet other girls and to learn responsibility.

I don't know much about any of the group in this area, but I was a Girl Scout until I graduated high school, by that time there 4 or 5 of us, but I loved Girl Scouts, and will let my girls (when I have any) be in it if they like

I enjoyed being a girl scout. It was a good way to get exposure to the great outdoors, since my parents weren't really into hiking. I think it would have a great deal to do with the troop leaders... if they're good, your daughters would have fun. If not, look for another troop.

My daughter joined Daisy's last year as a Kindergartner and is now in Brownies as a first grader. She has enjoyed every minute. As a Daisy it was more about socializing and having fun with friends. Now with Brownies they get into working on more patches, selling cookies and taking more responsibility in thier troop. There are great programs through Girl Scouts. It's a great experience and I would recommend it for your daughters.
