Check out meetup.com. They have lots of playgroups in different areas all around Tampa Bay. It's also a great way for you to meet some new people.
Hi Sarah,
I am a certified instructor with Music with Mar. and we have fun, interactive music and movement classes throughout the community for ages 0-6. Classes do not teach music, but use music to teach basic developmental skills. Prices are per family, not per child! For a schedule and for more info, check out www.musicwithmar.com. I teach in Tampa, Oldsmar & Lutz.

i take my son to the park in norhtdale it is right off of dale mabry. i am not sure where you live but their is a place called the play patch and it is an interactive place for you and him. it is an inside place kind of like gymboree but not so structured. their are classes you can take with him like painting and play dough. it is a great place for kids to interact with other kids their age. the number is ###-###-####
their is also a website i dont know the exact address just google a play patch and it should come up. good luck i hope this helps.
join your local MOPS (mothers of preschoolers). They have great ways to socialize with other moms and their kids.
MOM's Club. org. We have been members of Mom's club for years. It is a club for stay at home moms. It goes by zip code. So it is moms in your area.
There are several playgroups out there. Just have to find what's available in your area. HAve you tried a Google search for Tampa playgroups? You can also contact the neaest famiy resource center. The library sometimes has story time and activities. You just have to do a little research and find one that best works for you and your child.
