Hi Moms
I have three children ages 7 months(b), 2(g) and 4(b). I am essentially a single mom for the moment as my husband is in school in Texas until the end of April. I work Wed-Sat and spend the other three days of the week at home with the kids. Problem is,I am finding it hard to get creative and be able to play with them when I have all 3 by myself (the baby is teething and is very fussy unless being held at the moment) I was wondering if there were any other moms out there that might want to start some kind of play group or something on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday where the kids could get together and have some fun. I know about things like Gymboree, My Gym and Mommy & Me but with three kids and a single income it gets kind of expensive. I was thinking of meeting at indoor play lands or even at my house, and then when it gets warm going to outside parks or something. Any ideas would be great.
I recommended a MOMS Club (MOMS stands for Moms Offering Moms Support) to another mother and she loved it for finding a playgroup. Try looking for a club in your area and join. They have regular playgroups and I'm sure you could find one that fits your schedule. Good luck!

Hi K.. My name is R. i have a daughter who is 16 months old. i work full time mon-fri but i get off at 3pm so i have alot of time with her. she is the only baby at her daycare so it would be nice if i could meet some other mothers and she could meet some other kids around her age.
I'm not too far from you in Ashburn, I would love to get together and play! My boys are 8 months (teething as well- I feel your pain) and just turned 3.
Maybe a meet up at the Dulles Town Center play area(or someplace else- open to suggestions) on a Monday (Sundays and Tuesdays are family days for us).
