Seeking Playgroups in the Fairfield Area

Without a doubt the best place to start would be the Newcomers Club in Fairfield. By doing some researching on the town website or calling town hall you should have no problem finding the contact person. Not only will you be instantly assigned to a playgroup but you'll be able to meet other new folks in the area with young kids. Although my kids are teenagers now, Newcomers was a godsend when they were young and I met one of best friends through them and that was 13 years ago! Hope this helps and welcome to the area.

I belong to the Mom's Club of Fairfield. There are 3 different groups depending on where you are (North, Central, and South). I belong to Mom's club North.

every town nearby has playgrounds; libraries also offer programs for kids of all ages, you can also catch a free movie there. But the best thing you can do is to go to www.kidsevents.com and research all possibilities; believe me you'll be well informed about everything regarding kids and family activities in all Fairfield county. When I stopped working to stay home, I found a group called Mothers and More. It had great activities and I found a Mom that we had playdates with every week for 3 years!
