Seeking Progressive/liberal Church

if by liberal you mean a multi cultural church that still embraces the Word of God but also His people then you might also consider Christ The Rock on winchester just east of hacks cross roads. It is a very loving and wonderful bible based church that is filled with the Spirit and all kinds of people. If you mean a church that just considers the bible a suggestion then you should try the episcopol church we used to go to Holy Trinity they are very liberatl in their interpretations and applications of the bible.

Hi, L.! My husband and I are liberal, and we are happy at Church of the Holy Communion in East Memphis. It's Episcopal. Of course, you will see plenty of cars in the parking lot with "W" stickers, but liberals can find their niche here. There's a small Episcopal church in Cordova. It's on Macon, near Cully.

You know there's a Unitarian Church in Cordova, right? Not just the one downtown. You might want to look into a Quaker meeting, also. There are at least 2 Unity churches in the Memphis area, too.

I hope that helps. If you aren't Christian, you could try one of the Buddhist groups.
