Seeking Quality Karate Lessons for My Children and Homeschooling Tips

I don't homeschool but when I was considering it I found a homeschooling co-op in South Arlington (Near Mansfield, I think).

It is a group that homeschools M-Th, then meets together on Friday for group lessons and field trips and PE, etc. (I think).

Our kids are in highschool and one has graduated (all homeschool) and all of them took karate and attained their blackbelts and above. My 14 year old still takes lessons. We love Debbie Ruhde who is a part of Arlington School of Self-Defense. Her classes are taught at Grace Prep on I-20 in Arlington. She is a 5th degree blackbelt and is wonderful with the kids from pre-K and up. I don't think you can find a more quality instructor and school. Her fees are also very reasonable. I am not sure about home school but I do know where to get the best karate lessons for your children. It is called Troy Dorseys Karate in downtown Mansfield. He is wonderful with children and a wonderful Christian man who loves the Lord. My boys took it there when they where young and I could not have been happier with the quality of teaching that goes on there. Anyway, best of luck to you in all your endeavors.

Check out CHEA-Christian Homeschooling Educaters of Arlingtom. Also Christian Karate lessons at Sagamore Church on East Chase is great. There is PE on THursdays at Lake Arlington Baptist Church on Little Road near I-20 and a lot of families participate.
