Seeking Recommendations for Preschool for 3 Year Old

I am seeking any recommendations or referrals for a preschool between where we live, Boynton Beach, and where I work, West Palm Beach (preferably in the east). My son will be three in a couple of months and so I am interesting in enrolling him in the Fall. Also, because I work, I need someplace that is open until at least 6. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

My son went to Planet Kids in Lantana for 3 years and he LOVED it!! I highly recommend them.

My son (2 1/2) has been going to Beginnings Preschool (Lantana Rd. btwn Haverhill & Military) We love it and so does he. I looked at a bunch and this was my pick. It is open from6:30 to 6:00. Good luck! Another perk of this school is that the children that go there, go there full time...there is NO AFTERCARE with bigger kids. The school only accepts kids that start at 2 and they have to leave by the time they are 5 to go to regular school.

My brother and sister in law did a lot of checking and put their girls at Light House Academy, Boynton Beach Blvd. They seem very happy with their choice.

Hi B.! I don't know your background but I am the chair of the preschool committee for Temple Torah's preschool called Torah Tots. It's on the corner of Jog & Gateway. We have a great preschool with an extended day program (7am-6pm). People who visit our school fall in love with it. Educators and professionals who see the facilities and learn about the curriculum are wholely impressed. Feel free to call the director and take a tour. Call Shari Young at ###-###-####

This may be a little too far west for you but just in case... My sister and I have both used PlanetKids (on Lake Worth Rd approx 1 mile west of the Turnpike). I put my son in preschool there at age 2 & continued to use them through Pre-K. Now that my son is in elementary school, I use them for summer camp. They are a little expensive but believe me it's well worth it for the peace of mind you get. They are extremely clean and really watch the children very carefully. They also have a wide range of educational experiences at no extra cost-- my son studied sign language, Spanish, French. You can also pay for extra classes- karate, dance, crafting. Whatever you choose, good luck. I know that it's a really tough decision!
