Seeking Reputable Salon for Bikini Wax for First Timer!

I'm planning on getting a bikini wax (what a euphamism!) before I give birth, but this is something I've rarely done and am not looking forward to for all the expected reasons. I'm wondering who women in the North Shore trust and recommend...affordability doesn't hurt either!

Hi L.,
I have been going to the same person for years and I love her. She is in Andover. Her name is Nichole Little and she just opened her own place called Starlette. The number is ###-###-####. She is very nice, gentle and accomodating. I know she would do what she could to put you at ease. Her place is very spa like and relaxing and her prices are reasonable.
Good luck. The anticipation is much worse than the actual process.

Hi L.,
I too decided to get a bikini wax before the birth of my daughter last year (face it, it's hard to see how well shaving going with the belly in you way). I forget the name of the women, but she is in Danvers at Abrie Salon on Sillivan Street...she the only women in the salon that does waxing. She made me feel very comfortable, I'd go to again (a few of my girl friends use her regulary...she's the only person they feel comfortable waxing 'down there').

Congrats on the upcoming birth!!!

Hi L.! First of all, congratulations!! My friend Kerri is an esthetician (sorry for spelling) at Salon Bellina in Medford and also Tabu in Newton Centre. She is excellent and has been doing this sort of things for many years. She is very personable and just had a baby about 15 months ago. She is very well-established and comes highly recommended. But, just a forewarning, you are more sensitive "down-there" during pregnancy, I found this out both times I was pregnant and got bikini waxes!! Kerri will make you feel very comfortable! Good luck!! and if you make an appt. with her, let her know that S. sent you!
