We use Pete's hardwood floors in St. Paul. They are located on the corner of Fairview and Selby. Bob and his crew are very affordable and good at what they do. Contact me if you want more info.

We are purchasing a new house and would like to have hard wood floors installed asap. If you have any recommendations for an affordable, quality company I'd greatly appreciate it! The house is in Cottage Grove.

First let me say, I am not sure if this would be economical or not but you should check into it. Dalton Georgia is the carpet capital in the US but also has very very good deals on hardwood floors. When we lived in Chattanooga TN (40 min drive from Dalton) we purchased both carpeting and hardwood floors for 1/2 the price that you could get the same product from Home Depot. The company is called Carpets of Dalton. Not sure if they are still in business but I do believe they ship all over the country. That said, you would have to pay quite a bit in shipping but you would save a lot on the base price plus I believe there is no sales tax since they are out of state. Even with the shipping, the total bill may be less than getting it locally. If I was building a house I would certainly look into it, assuming the builder has an installer.
YES! Jerry's floors. I know Jerry personally and he is very skilled in what he does, an honest and hardworking man. His number is ###-###-####. You can tell him M. referred you! He's awesome!
My husband owns a flooring store and sells and installs all types of flooring. The store is in Burnsville but he goes all over the twin cities. He will also bring samples to you at home and give a free estimate. His company name is Distinctive Flooring and his name is Andy. Give him a call at ###-###-####. I would get a couple of estimates and go with who you feel most comfortable.
