How about playing tourist downtown? The Field museum is free in February, and they have a new children's play area.
My hubby just finished his mid-term and this weekend we want to go somewhere as a family since he has been studying non-stop the past few weekends.
We want to go somewhere locally on this coming Sunday...but no idea where since the weather isn't exactly great.
Any ideas where I can take a 2 year old? We live in the suburbs.

Coco Keys in Arlington Heights or there is another one Coco Lime (not sure) in Gurnee. These are indoor water places. They are totally kool.

The Kohl's Children museum in Glenview is lots of fun - or depending on which suburb you are in maybe Wonder Works in Oak Park.

Well... maybe a day at an indoor waterpark. Holiday Inn in Elmhurst has one and there is a new one in Arlington Hts. called Coco Key. I know you can call Coco Key and see if there are any passes just for the day available. Or of course you could rent a room. I think your daughter would be free if you go with the day pass. (2 yrs. and under) My neighbor went on a weekday and she found 5 dollar off coupons for each family member. She said that was reasonable, but it is kind of pricey on the weekends without the coupons.
Just a thought!
