The Hurst rec center has GREAT swim lessons! They only have about 5 students per teacher and they are only 25 dollars for two weeks. If your not a hurst resident then its 27 dollars.
They have 5 different sessions you can choose from and I know some of my friends do two weeks then a break and then another two weeks.

Emler Swim School was really great for us. My son, who was 5 at the time, was swimming with his face in the water in about three lessons. You can check them out at www.iswimemler.com. I don't think the prices are on there, though, so you will have to call. They have several locations.
I have a friend off of Brown Trail at whose pool my girls have done lessons every summer for the past 5 years now. She offers a wide variety of classes & session times starting in late May & going through the summer. She is a highly certified instructor & actually used to be my Aquatics Director at the YMCA 10 years ago. I always try to put a small group of friends together to do 2 seessions or so, so we can get a group rate, pick our classmates & name our own time. She also does privates. If you'd like more info, email me at ____@____.com & I'll shoot you her email. She usually starts sending out info in April.
