I was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting a playgroup started on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. I would love to coordinate it!

So What Happened?

I have a couple other ladies who have replied on here and wanted to meet just the adults before. What do you think about a Mother's breakfast or Luncheon on Sat the 9th? Let me know. If that isn't good let me know. I am awaiting replies from the other ladies, but it would be great to start fresh where no one knows anyone and all have a chance to join in and not feel left out! Let me know. You can email me at ____@____.com.

There are plenty around. Start by looking at the national website for Mothers & More (mothersandmore.org) to find the chapter closest to you. There are several in/near Indy. I'm in the Hamilton County one (geocities.com/mothersandmore_indy) but that's probably a drive for you. I know there's one in Zionsville, too. We are totally different from other mothers groups because we're the only national group that focuses on the mom, not the child. We have plenty of child activities but it's more of a support system for mothers from all walks of life -- stay-at-home moms, full-time outside the house employment and everyone in between. Children make friends easily -- moms need a dedicated support system to take care of herself so she can take care of the kids!
