I have a friend who works out with a group of ladies at CrossTimbers Community Church in Argyle. She loves it. I think they meet MWF. You could check out their website for the #. Its www.crosstimberschurch.org
Hello Mommas:
My husband, two year old daughter and I moved to the Roanoke area about 3 months ago from CA. I would love to have another baby; however, I am gun-shy to do so until I can get this body of mine into a stronger and more stable shape. I have chronic neck and back pain (which I am currently treating with chiropractic and massage), but I need to complement that with an HONEST and CONSISTENT effort to strengthen my muscles and lose the 10-15 lbs of baby weight that I am still carrying from my first pregnancy. I am a member of the Solana Club in Westlake, which offers childcare that I have generally been happy with...but what I feel like I need, especially being new here, is a workout buddy! Someone that can help me get my tail moving by meeting me at the gym (or elsewhere) to help keep me accountable (and for whom I could do the same.) I work part-time, so I am thinking, realistically, of working out 2-3 days a week? Mornings would be best; however, I am flexible. If this sounds like it would coincide with anyone else's goals out there, give me a shout!

What a great plan. I am a member of Lifetime in Colleyville. I know that's a long way for you, but just wanted to tell you good luck. I wish you the best and hope you find someone to make your workouts enjoyable!
Best,

Hi K.,
I, too, have struggled with extra weight after pregnancy and the most life-changing weight management plan I've ever come across is from a ministry called Setting Captives Free. Check it out at www.settingcaptivesfree.com. Go to Online Courses, select "The Lord's Table" and preview the first lesson, read testimonials from others who've done the study, etc. You can do the 60 day plan free online and it includes an online accountability partner who has done the study before. Or you can get the book and go through it with a friend. Blessings to you. You are not alone in this challenge...J.
