T.P.
I had a c-section with both of my pregnancies. The first was un-planned, with my son. I was pushing for about 45 minutes and his heart rate kept dropping so they did an emergency c-section. I also had extreme pre-eclampsia so that one was hard b/c I couldn't get out of bed for the 1st 2 days after the surgery. That made recovery worse. Try to get up as soon as possible. My second was planned with my twins at Lutheran General, but they didn't want to wait until the planned date and I went into labor a week b/f we had scheduled. The 2nd time around was so much easier. I was out of the hospital after 2 nights, they wanted me to stay longer but I was ready to go. Lutheran General was great, very helpful and knowledgable staff. My doctor was Iannucci, great doctor!! I was also on bed rest for 16 weeks with my twins, it's hard but get your rest. I agree with another post, get the twins on a schedule as early as possible. My twins both had colic, very long 1st 4 months, but we are passed that now and they are great sleepers and eaters now. I owe it to my husband for enforcing the schedule, I am a softie. Good luck, hope all turns out good for you and your babies.
