I got my dyed today. I dyed the lower half a different color and left my natural color on the top.
I really like it! :) But now where its dyed is VERY dull! There is no shine to it at all. It looks and feels dried out and I just had it done today. My hair is normally very healthy and shiny. It makes the dyed part really stick out being dull from my natural and shiny hair.
What would you recommend to get all of my hair shiny again?
I go the natural route. Egg, mayonaise and olive oil are all good for getting shiny hair. Figure out which will work best on your hair type.
Deep conditioning treatment on the dull part, after that if it does not help then I would go to the salon and have them to do a treatment.
Get some peratin, its a gel like liquid that hydrates your hair and makes it shiny.. a little goes a long way and you can find it for pretty cheap!
Moroccan Oil. Expensive but worth every penny, and the bottle lasts forever.
After dying, perming, and perming my hair again. It was in bad condition. I was told to use a clairifying shampoo once or twice a month. and use a good conditioner. Leave the conditioner in for a while dont just wash it out right away in the shower. Also egg is very good as well. I was tole to put the egg in my hair and leave it for 30 min or so then wash it out. Good luck! My hair only took a week and it looks great again!
