This is going to seem like a crazy request but...
Is there such a service for last minute daycare issues? Let's say that my son is sick one morning and I really can't miss work- Boss not too understanding, and all my sick days are gone due to this issue. Is there such a service or does anyone have any suggestions?

I thought of one other thing, too - Provena Mercy Center Hospital used to have a program for sick child care where kids could go for a day at a time. Don't know if it's still in operation, but you could call the hospital and inquire. Good luck!
You may receive two emails from me- I just goofed on my email. Anyway, I have been looking into that same issue as well and have come up with nothing. Some hospitals offer a sick child care service, but I live in Yorkville and have checked into the hospitals near here. If you receive any helpful responses, please let me know!

I am not sure, but try Bright Horizons. I think they have several locations, search the web. They do daycare and school, if you are intrested.
My mom is a retired preschool teacher of 20yrs. And is working very part time in daycare. She works once a month - for a women who works from home - but is required to be in the corporate building office 2 days out of the month. SHe also lives in Aurora - a few blocks from White Eagle. If you are interested in more info contact me (her daughter) and I will give you more info. SHe chrages $10 per hour - and also housecleans for about $65 and up depending on the size of your home.
