I am looking for an affordable new car. I have two kids, so it cannot be too small. My car just broke down yesterday and it will cost more to repair the problem than the car is worth. I have friends and family lugging me and my kids around today. I do not have any money to put down and not the best credit. I need a low payment. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

I just saw a commercial for Central Kia. They have a model that does not appear to be too small for less than $6,000 BRAND NEW, with a 10 year warranty. It also said something about a $59 down payment. Not sure what the catch is, but sounds like a heck of a deal to me!

My girlfriend went to driverselect and got a late model car that was 3 years old and in good condition. I think she said she put a total of $1,000 down (split up into two payments). I'm not sure of her car payments but I think it was pretty low.

I do have a 1993 Previa Van. It is a perfect family vehicle. I am trying to sell it. I am not in a rush to sell and dont need cash desperatley so I am willing to accept low payments from you. We have a 2003 Suburban for sale. It's in excellent condition, only 42,000 miles - it's loaded including a DVD player (to keep the kids occupied!) and we are only asking the payoff on it - which is $18,500. We have and do not need to SUV's so we are selling this one. It gets 18 miles to the gallon in town, which is pretty good for an SUV. I am also a single mom and have had luck with Carmax in Garland. I did not have to put any money down and have payments under $300. Also, Leardership Ford on Central Expwy has done post-dated checks for a down payment in the past, you might want to call and see if they still do.
