maybe hes not allergic to the smoke per say, but the kind of wood being burned? but that doesnt answer the cig smoke connection.
do you or anyone else in your household smoke? sounds like its a good time to quit. its likely that if you smoke, and did while pregnant, or someone you live did/does, he might have some kind of issue related to that. and when it comes down to it, whats more important? the expensive addiction, or your child? i would try that first, if thats an issue in your household. i know its not easy, but its for the best, and you wont regret it. and dont hesitate to get help! many many insurance companies have FREE help, if not ask your local county's health and human services dept for help.
im sorry you hvae to go through this. if you dont like what your doctor tells you, GET A SECOND THIRD OR EVEN FOURTH OPINION. dont stop at one doctor because he thinks he knows what it is. keep going on until you find a doctor who addresses your specific concerns, and gives you an answer you are satisfied with...
