Does anyone have any good recommendations for a sleep away camp? My daughter is 11 and would love to go to one this summer. Thanks!

Covenant Harbor in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. Great activities, on the lake with well supervised water activities. I think there is a 3 day camp for younger kids (maybe your daughter's age) and the rest of the camps are one week. Good luck!
My daughter (11 years old) has been going to Camp Tecumseh for the past 2 years. It's located in Brookston,IN and is affiliated with the YMCA. She'll be going again this year. She loves it! It's a very good camp where they do/and can pick different activities such as archery, art, horseback riding, acting, etc. You can also request to be in the same cabin with a friend. It's a little pricy, but worth every penny. You might want to check their website (camptecumseh.org) as they fill up very quickly. I usually sign her up way ahead of time, but you can be put on a waiting list.
This is a great camp. Hope this helps!
Our daughter will go to Circle Pines when she's old enough. We go to some of the family programs. "The mission of Circle Pines is to teach peace, social justice, environmental stewardship and cooperation. The Center aims to demonstrate cooperative alternatives for economic and social issues and to teach cooperation as a way of life." http://www.circlepinescenter.org/
Check out the "Y" camps and see if there are any class mates of your child who have attended these camps recently and get their imput.
A couple of people have already suggested YMCA camps. There are quite a few and I've heard good things about many of them. We did a bit of research last year and our dauaghter wants to go to the YMCA's Camp Pinewood. The YMCAs often have info sessions on their camps. Check with your local YMCA to start.
I was recently at a cub scout camping trip to Camp Tecumseh in Indiana and was very impressed. It must be amazing in the summer. Its a huge camp and there's so much to do. The web site is www.camptecumseh.org and the number is ###-###-####. It's a YMCA camp. Offer 1 and 2 week programs.
I have also heard that Camp Pinewood is good, friends have sent their kids for years. It is also a YMCA camp closer to lake michigan in Indiana. They are offering a 3 day camp, which is good for first time campers. www.camppinewood.com ###-###-####.
There's a Y camp in MI called Camp Echo that everyone LOVES. My daughter is too young at this point, but I've heard so many good things about it. They also have a family camp where everyone can go and do all the activities in case there's a younger sibling that feels left out or your daughter would feel more comfortable checking it out together before going alone. I think you could probably Google it. It's in Fremont, MI.
