One of my sons is very slim too. I think the reason we don't see slim sizes too often any more is because most brands now have adjustable waists.
Hi, does any one knows where can I find skinny clothes for girls?? My nieces are 4 and 3 and are petite and skinny, we can't find clothes that fit the right way if we get small sizes they fit short on length , I know brands like gap and children's place has slim sizes but after size 5 .....I really apreciatte if someone knows more brands ..thank you

carters is pretty slim clothing
Actually children's place starts slim at 4 (not T) I would never buy children's clothing from old navy they wear out too fast Ive gotten holes in mine shortly after buying them for myself. Check sears they carry all different brands and have a free program you can join that warranties their clothing. Carters seem to be longer so they might fit better because you can get away with smaller sizes.
My daughter is slim too. We buy Gymboree slim (online only) and adjustable waist is available up to size 5t.
I believe it was either Sears or JCPenney where we bought my now 9 year olds slim pants. If you are buying clothes at The Children's Place, the smaller sizes tend to run a bit large. My girls are literally able to wear the clothes we buy there for years. The skirts are long on them the first year, but end up being minis by the time I have to force them to give them up. My girls love The Children's Place clothing.
I have this issue with both my kids, long and skinny. Old Navy, Target have pants/jeans that have elastic with holes on the inside and you can adjust the pants accordingly. They are reasonably priced as other jeans/pants without.
Children's Place, Kmart and many other stores have pants/shorts/skirts with adjustable waists in the smaller sizes. There is elastic with button holes and a button on each side . I like the Chyildren's Place clothes and they wear well. The outlet has good prices, especially when things go on clearance.
My daughter is 2 and slim as well. I have also been known to just make a little pleat and sew it down to make the waist smaller. If you do it evenly (same amount and place on each side, or in just one spot in the back) it looks fine. Many times I sew it smaller and then can take it out when she grows (toddlers grow so fast anyway).
We buy the adjustable waists for our kids, even our 12 year old. We get most of them at Target and Kohl's, though most stores carry them. It is the first thing I do when I shop...look for the adjustable waist!
I get my very skinny daughter's pants at Land's End, JCPenneys and WalMart, though they do not have slim sizes, just an adjustable waistband. I dare say Wranglers would come in slim girls sizes (they do for boys) but I haven't checked that brand yet. Those would be available at western stores or farming stores like Orschelns or Tractor Supply.

walmart has em not mine are like that and i think all kids clothes are beigh made with the adjustable waist lines if you find out where else to find em let me know to plz
Try Gymboree's leggings. My oldest daughter is also very slender with long legs. For several years the only pants that would fit her were Gymboree's leggings (the knit pants). With it being summer now it should be easier because the length doesn't matter as much with capris and shorts. We would also buy pants in smaller sizes and my daughter would wear them as capris.
I second Target and Old Navy!
I know that Wrangler and Levi's jeans carry slim sizes for boys, starting at 1T. I don't have a girl, but this is what I have found for the boys. I know that I don't like the adjustable waist pants because they tend to be so big, so even when you wrench them down small enough to fit your skinny child, he looks like he is wearing his Daddy's pants. Just my opinion. I have found, once the kids get bigger, that a 4 slim is smaller than a 4T. Good luck! I also buy the Wrangler's on ebay a lot of the time because I can often get them cheaper than at a western store.
