Snackeez (As Seen on TV) - Anybody Use Them? How'd They Do?

Hi Moms,

My almost 8 year old son saw this on TV and thinks it's cool. They sell them at some stores locally, so I wouldn't have to deal with shipping.

I googled and the reviews are mixed between "my kid loves it" and "It leaks". He saw a kid with one, and it wasn't leaking (LOL) so he's asking for it.

I'm leaning towards no, but if you moms have used them and had good experience, I may get one for his birthday (coming up soon).

If you bought a Snackeez, what happened? Reviews are appreciated ;)

What can I do next?

Ah, these commercials for this stuff drive me nuts.

My daughter had to have one of these and now it sits in the cabinet collecting dust. I found it at Michaels or Target, cant remember which store. Don't pay shipping, you can find it at so many retailers.

Since it has a straw and is not a Sippy cup then yes it will leak and it only holds a little bit of a snack. I think for in the car it is handy but at home its easier to use a separate dish/bowl for a snack.

Doesn't really "control the mess". The snack cup isn't that big. It holds a soda can of drink in the bottom with some ice.

It WILL leak if turned on its side. If you have a 45 minute trip that your kid wants a snack for? It's great for that - just enough to hold 'em over and give 'em a drink.

It's OKAY. Would I buy more? No.

Honestly, the reviews that complain about leaking are silly. It's a straw cup, not a sippy. Of course the straw will leak.

That said, I think it'd be fine for an 8 year old.

My daughter was given one for Christmas from family. It's a nice enough cup. It is a straw cup and if you don't get the lid on completely straight it could leak some. But, I have yet to own a cup that hasn't had some way of leaking before so that's not a sticking point for me. My niece also got one for Christmas (my niece and daughter were given matching ones LOL). She uses hers all the time. My sister in law can't wash it fast enough. She likes to get her milk put in it and her cereal in the snack part. She gets her scrambled eggs in there some mornings even.
It doesn't hold a huge snack, It's a decent enough size cup for a drink.
We haven't bought another one but the one we have does get used often enough.

My 4 year old loves his Snackeez cup. As others said, it will definitely leak if turned to a side as it is a straw cup. I love it because I can put his snack and drink in the cup and fit it in his car seat cupholder. My son knocked it over from a table and broke it recently, but it did have quite an impact. I am thinking of getting another one.

My kids love them. My daughter has the big one and my 3 yr old son has the small one. There are great, but if laid on the side it will leak. These are great when watching movies, snack and drink in one cup. :)
