This is my problem. Hope I explain it well b/c I really need some help. I have an old itunes acct. under an old email . I have a new ipod & I have a couple problems. First, I can't get my library to pull up using my new email, to put my old songs on new ipod. I wld started a whole new acct., trying to move songs from old ipod to new acct. Hoping that I can then transfer them to new ipod. When I hook up old ipod to try to get those songs on the new acct., it says it's " syncing" but nothing. What am I doing wrong or is their an easier way to this, that I'm missing. Any suggestions, would be appreciated.

I think the first thing you need to do is go onto iTunes and update your account information. That should take care of the e-mail issue. I don't think you can really start a new account and sync your old songs to the new account. You just need to update your old account with your new e-mail information.

Then, sync your old iPod to your computer one last time. Then, hook the new iPod up to your computer. It will take forever to sync the first time.

Worse comes to worst, I always google my exact problem. There's always a user forum somewhere that can walk you through what you need to do, or call Apple tech support. They're really good and helpful. :)

Got a teenager?

My daughter is walking me through syincing my IPhone on my new computer and setting it up. I know the frustration.

Tech support is also a good friend, just expect to be on the phone a long time.

I'm scared that I have wiped my phone clean, we'll see.

Good luck.

You can use iCloud to sync everything. That's what we're doing right now with iTunes, my husband's iPad2, son's iPod Touch and my iPhone. All you need to do is sign into the app store with your email and apple ID...on each device.

Just know that you can not merge 2 different accounts, so change the email on your first account and don't sign in on your "new" account. I makes life much more difficult!
