I am hoping one of you can help me out here. I'm looking to get my son (who will be 4 in March) into soccer. I just don't know where to look! I know I could check into our local YMCA for this, but I don't feel like paying an arm and a leg! Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help!

What can I do next?

I suggest checking in to you local Recreation Center. We live in Parkville and Parkville Rec. Center is awesome. My sons have played for the Rec. for years I have a 9 year old boy a 5 year old boy and a third son that turns 4 in July and he is going to play soccer in the fall. And it is not expensive.

Have you tried the Dept. of Parks and Recreation or local community centers? Often times they have great leagues available for little ones.

Hi. I don't know if this was already said but check out www.soccerdome.com. They have soccer for kiddos M-F 9-3 for $4.

Hope that helps

I'm not sure exactly where you are located, but check your county recs and parks page, it will usually link you to the local soccer clubs. Also, indoor soccer places usually have leagues for preschoolers. If you are near Anne Arundel or Howard counties, check www.soccerdome.com for indoor soccer.

I would recommend going through your local recreation center. We live near Baltimore and use Bel Air Rec. The prices are pretty reasonable. Hope this helps.

Hi. I live in Towson. We loved UK Elite - Their program was amazing. Coaches just wonderful for this age group. I have a 3 year old little boy and a 5 year old daughter and both participated last fall. Try looking at their web site www.ukelite.com. Towsontown Rec Center and Lutherville's rec center also offer programs, however I am not sure at what age. Lastly, we loved our summer program last year which was Keith Van Eron's soccer camp. He really does an amazing job with the children. Our 9 year old daughter loved his camp! I think his camps do have programs for little ones, too. Good Luck! These little guys need to run, run, run!! :o)
