I have seen slipper socks with grippies on the bottom at Walmart and Target for older kids, but not regular socks that can be worn with shoes.
My daughter is almost 6 and wears a size 12 shoe. She needs new socks, and I'm having a hard time finding any that have the little rubber letters on the bottom to make them non-slip. We usually get them at Old Navy, Target, or the Childrens Place, but they seem to stop after her current size. We have wood stairs and floors that are pretty slippery. She wears slippers sometimes, but not always. Does anyone know who sells socks for bigger kids that still have "grippies"?

I prefer those socks too for my son, and he's in a size 13 shoe, so we are in the same boat.
I know you can buy iron-on grippies, in fact, I think I saw them at Target, which isn't a terrible idea, but the MOST CLEVER thing I saw suggested to a question similar to this, is to get *PUFFY PAINT* (in the fabric paint section at walmart, craft stores, etc.) and paint your own grippies on the bottoms of your daughter's socks! You could personalize them with her name, designs, etc. She could even do them herself! I haven't tried this yet, so I can't swear by how well it works, but it seemed like a pretty clever idea to me! I have done puffy paint on clothes for various things, and I've washed them in the washer and dried them in the dryer with no problems, so at least from the cleaning standpoint, I think they'd be fine...
Maybe at a medical supply store? Usually while in the hospital they give you those thick blue socks with the rubber doohickeys on the bottom. Maybe a pharmacy carries them?
Maybe you could applicay some on yourself?
Whoa, lot's of maybe's here.
I'm home sick from work and on cold medicine and my answers today are probably going to be questionable.
Maybe I should go back to bed.
My daughter has some from Carter's that are a size 9 or 10.
Sams Club carries some for adults might want to try those.
I've found that adult sizes vary. some are shorter than others. I've bought grippie socks for my granddaughter from the adult section.
puffy paint works if you have to make your own.
You could try Kohls...
