You certainly can mix what he has already had - if you have given him peas and carrots separately and all is good, you can give him mixed peas and carrots. :-) Still keep adding new things in there too :-) Have fun!! :-)
I've been giving my son soild food for a month now and was wondering if I can mix the food i have tried with him before trying others?. He is almost 7 month and doing great. Or do i need to keep trying other things?

You can feed him any of the food he likes so far. Please remember that baby food does NOT have very much nutrition in it. The baby needs his formula or breast milk first. At this age his growth and development is going to come almost entirely from the formula/breastmilk.
He can learn to chew and swallow by using the food as a learning tool but for actual nutrition he needs the fluids first.
I was told that if they have had a food with no reaction you can give that to them any time.. just do not intruduce 2 new foods closer than a few days apart so you know what is giving the reaction.
We never did jar foods, so much esier to just make our own.
Good luck.
Thanks everyone, i breastfeed him first then give him some soilds always. And i stay home so i do my own food for him (no store bought jars) so far. And im only doing a little at a time. Just wanted to make sure im on the right track. Thanks again. :-)
Our kids ate the things we ate. My wife had a hand-held food grinder and she took food off her plate, ground it up and fed our kids.
That way the babay will eat what you eat and be used to it.
Good luck to you and yours.
