wow, I would be really careful with this. Babies ears are still developing and very sensitive. It would be very easy to hurt your childs ears/hearing and not even know it. Just because a product is out there doesn't mean it is good for baby. Have you encouraged your hubby to help baby explore the sounds of the world during walks. Birds, cars, trains, people, dogs barking...etc. "What's that sound?" just like eye spy. I remember being in a preschool class and doing a simple activity of naming sounds. I was amazed at how some of the children had not be exposed to or could not identify simple sounds. If you are stolling outside with music your little one could miss all the amazing sounds of outside and wonderful questioning and learning that comes with that. I often see people with ipods walking down the street, but if daddy is taking a walk with baby there is so much to talk about and explain that music would take away from...just something to think about...and I just want to add that I am not against the wonderful stimulation of music for children. My kids and I love music, in the car and in the background while we are playing at home.
