Time to pull out the phone book - I have two Autistic boys myself and a third right on the Autism border. I know what your daughter is dealing with. You will want to look up the Easter Seals Chapter in your area or The United Way. Both should have referrals to services in your area. Another good place to get info from should be your local school district. Has your daughter put your grandson in any type of early learning classes? The sooner you get him help the better off he'll be. The schools' special education department should also have local resources to help you. Go "up the ladder" within your district until you get the answers you need. We live in Oxford and my boys attend Lake Orion Schools. There are several online organizations that could possibly give you referrals, too. Try Googling "Autism" and see what kind of sites you get. www.Autisticmedia.org is one place you can check out. You can also try The Autism Society of America. They will have links to local support and resources. I hope this helps - S.
